Jeffrey Lisandro in another of his crowning moments, won his fifth WSOPE bracelet.Jeffrey Lisandro is on a roll with his many victories. Last year, he earned the 2009 WSOP player of the year award, which is a great feat in itself, and this year, he just increased his number of WSOP bracelets by one, putting him in the twelfth place for having the most number of bracelets.

His four other bracelets, however, were won in Stud Events. Lisandro is known for being one of the best Seven Card Stud players.

In 2009, he won all three stud events, the first person ever to do so. With this most recent win of his, he just proved that it’s not just stud poker that he’s good at, but also pot limit Omaha. He was facing a pretty star-studded field, considering how many bracelet winners entered in the tournament.

Twenty bracelet holders, including Jeff Madsen, Chris Bjorin, and Willie Tann, signed up for this tournament, but none of them got further than Lisandro himself, though a lot of them were at the final table.
